Waking up the morning of Paige and Joe’s wedding, you knew it was going to be a hot one. Weather reports temperature of 39 degrees around Inglewood Estate, in Kangaroo Ground, and given we were outer suburbs, you can add on a few degrees to that. But nothing was going to stop these champions.
After meeting in 2010, they starting dating as young lovers, just 16 years old. They have experienced it all, travelling South America, buying a home, attending numerous family and friends weddings. But also been a great support to each through losing loved ones, car crashes and multiple hospital stints. A lifetime of experiences together and now they get to start their lives as husband and wife with their family and closest friends there to celebrate too. Paige had her Step Father’s old Chevy as her bridal car, her two grandfathers on pendants that she would carry down the aisle at Inglewood Estate, her best friend’s gorgeous son (with his infectious smile) who would be ring bearer and her nieces as flower girls. Family was everything!
I never met Paige and Joe before their wedding, they booked me (from a mutual friend’s referral) straight away and figured we would meet down the track. Come the wedding day, I walked into their homes and felt like I was home. Thanks for being amazing, for being a friend and for inviting me into your life to capture the start of your life together.
